Barnoldswick and the surrounding area
Barnoldswick is a lovely market town situated right on the edge of the Yorkshire and Lancashire borders. A cobbled square is surrounded by quaint shops and cafes, with the market held on Thursday and Saturdays.
Barnoldswick was named “Best Local Centre” in November 2014, one of just seven winners in the High Street Forum awards.
The Leeds Liverpool canal runs past Barnoldswick and is a popular stop for those adventuring on the canal.
Just a few miles away is Skipton, known as the Gateway to the Dales. Skipton has also been named Best High Street in Britain.
